To solve this problem, on this device details about height, width, length, weight of towing vehicle and trailer as well as details on possible hazardous goods are also incorporated directly into the route calculation. Narrow roads, low tunnels, bridges or bends which are too tight can thus be excluded right from the outset.

One particular highlight are the user profiles which enable owners to turn their navigation devices into a perfect companion for a range of different vehicles. For example, anybody who drives lorries of different weights and sizes, a motor home or a bus can switch the BECKER ACTIVE ⁴³ TRANSIT to the respective vehicle with just one click and is always shown the ideal route to their destination.

The warnings, prohibition signs and direction signs provide a predictive and secure feeling when driving. They are shown on the display and warn the driver about any hazards that may lie ahead. And if you fancy trying out a new route when you are on the move, you can activate the Becker BestTracks function and then you can choose from up to three alternative routes.

  With a simple click you are able to install your navigation device to the active holder or remove it. You will have no more hassle with attaching cables. The car charger and TMC antenna are combined into one single cable which connects directly to your active car holder.

  At any time of your trip you will be able to choose the optimum route or one out of up to three true alternative routes. Becker BestTracks analyzes your individual routing situation and only proposes valid routing alternatives based on your personal routing preferences.  
  
  
• TMC Traffic Report Receiver
  Thanks to the TMC traffic report receiver, the latest traffic information in your set service area is always just a click away. This allows the current traffic situation to be automatically taken into account during the trip and a new route to be calculated if required. This in turn enables you to avoid any unnecessary waiting times. TMC messages are available in Belgium, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
  
  
• 3D Terrain View
  During your journey, the landscape you are driving through will be displayed in 3D. This provides prior notice of approaching ascents and descents or winding roads, allowing you to prepare for on-coming driving demands.
  
  
• Text-to-Speech
  The voice output has now been optimised and extended. In addition to naming place names, street names and exits, the navigation system now also provides detailed driving instructions.
  
  
• Truck & Camper Navigation
  Your route is calculated after considering relevant vehicle information such as height, width, weight, trailer information and loads classified as hazardous. In addition to your personal vehicle profile, the calculation also takes road attributes into account, such as bridge heights, tunnels, closures and specific warning signs. Unsuitable segments of road are therefore automatically avoided which at the same time helps minimise any possible dangers.
